Well it seems after waking my 05 TBA up after it's winter nap Something strange has started. It seems when I start her (Cold) NO Throttle full Choke I get 1 loud backfire through the pipes. Once it is warmed up it starts fine. Runs and Idles fine! Any ideas?? Thanks

Mine does that on occasion...just on the first start up.
I don't think it is a big deal but when it does it, I start looking for pieces of air-box.

I start mine cold on 1/2 throttle and it rarely does it (tho of course it doesn't get cold enough to snow here so this might not work for you.) I've also heard people recommend turning the ignition on and leaving it for 60 secs or so before starting it to allow the carb heaters to warm up the carbs.

Check your vaccum plugs. They have a tendency to crack over the winter and cause a vaccum leak which can cause backfires.

Mine was doing that last year. Cured it with a slight adjustment on teh carb screws to lean it out a bit.
