Not exactly Triumph related, but my wife and I learned that we are expecting a healthy baby girl. She's due in July, and we couldn't be more excited. I don't know anything about raising a girl, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I just wanted to share my happy news with my on-line family! I guess this means that money I was saving for a Rocket will have to be put towards college and and a wedding someday!!!
Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

Congratulations!! What a gift for you and your wife, truly.
Here's my tips for raising a girl....Love her, adore her, support her confidence and intelligence and practice cleaning your guns while looking really mean for when she starts bringing boys home.
I don't think you can call yourself nuthin anymore, Nathen- becoming a father really does make a man Sumthin. Seriously.

Congrats nathan, I've always felt I like I Missed out on somthing by never having a daughter (2 sons). I remember more than once in church seeing the special relationship between fathers and duaghters.

Congratulations to you and your wife.
I am very blessed, I have twins, a Boy and a Girl. So i get the best of both worlds.
Word of warning. Little girls learn really fast how to wrap their daddys around their little fingers.
Congrulations, you are about to go for the ride of your life. AND IT IS A BLAST!

It looks like we might have plenty of time to talk while hiding from the rain along the way! It could be a wet one!

Congrats Nathen! My daughter is 13 now and loves the bike! So far she's been a joy to raise and still is, but I wake up every morning and wonder if this is the day that I turn into the biggest dumb sh!t that ever lived!!!! Hopefully that doesn't happen. Wish I was going to Arkansas with you guys, but can't get away. Have a safe trip.

Hey Levi, I bought my rain gear last night as well, so we are guaranteed to have a rain free couple of days!
Skip, I wish you were joining us on the open road tomorrow!

My little girl(just turned 20) and I spent her spring break on a road trip to Florida to visit my Dad. We had a wonderful visit with each other. My son and I made this trip many times: first during speedweeks when he was 6 years old and lately during bike week with his Speed Triple. This was a first for me and my Katie by ourselves. Different type of trip, but every bit as enjoyable as going with Jr. And I didn't have any trouble getting her out of bed in the morning like her big brother(let him have it, Roundy). I wish you the same life full of joy and happiness with your daughter. Mike Sr.

Sounds great Mike! I'm looking forward to meeting this little girl of mine. She was either dancing or trying to claw her way through her mothers stomach last night. It was like a scene from Aliens. It was pretty neat to see her moving and kicking!

I'm the father of three daughters, now 22, 24, and 26 years old. It was indeed, a very wild ride. Their Mom took off and left them when they were little, and I was Mr. Mom & Mr. Dad for many years.
My daughters are drawn like magnets to convicted felons - really. Between the three of them, the count is 5 or 6 felons as boyfriends. Everybody needs a 2nd chance, but 1 or 2 felons per house should fulfill the quota? Guess not.
The first boy who came to our home is now back on the inside for x years for something or other. I knew he was a bad boy the day I met him. He was doing his very best Eddie Haskell all up on me in our living room, while from my semi reclined perch in my Lazyboy, I pointed out the window and said: "You see that backhoe, Name?" He replied, "Yup." I smiled at him and said, "If ever you give my 15 year old daughter any drugs, alcohol, or babies, they'll never find you."
He got all white punk trying to be a gansta up on me, (Eddie Haskell goes Vanilla Ice?) which I thought was amusing, and started to laugh, but stopped suddenly and then calmly said, "It wasn't a threat," and went back to my television show.
The other two daughters didn't bring too many boys around for quite a while.
At least they don't have to wonder if I'm in their corner or not.
