The family pictures in the "show yourself" thread sort of inspired me here. This pic is me with my nephew Jake the day he was born.  This next one was taken at St Pattie's day. He's 13 months old now and at least 34 lbs. Check out how tall he is!!! Thing is, he doesn't hang on when you hold him, so it's like dead weight. Gets tiring  But he's a ton of fun! We play Legos  OK so he's really Kim's nephew, but since he's THE ONLY person I let call me "Uncle Ben", I just call him my nephew too

no kidding.. my daugher turns 18 next month.. and I loved every minute of it. Here she is tryin on my new jacket

Exactly Benny, I work with youth as a part of what I do. It's gotten to the stage where I'm now seeing the kids of the "kids" I first started out with. What humors me at times, is how often children are pretty much miniature, animated versions of the parents. I learned that kids don't always appreciate being addressed by their parent's names however. What mystifies me at times, is how the kids quickly grow up while I seem to stay the same. Anybody else notice that  jh

my son turns 16 in May and I can't believe how fast the time zipped by! My mom always told me I should not wish away their lives because they will be grown up and gone before you know it and she was right.

My twins turned 5 last week. We had a childrens party for them at the weekend. For three hours on saturday my house was over run with four and five years olds. What fun, but i was shattered come saturday night. Party pictures here. http://www.theables.shutterfly.com/action/

Just the blink of an eye and they are grown up. Here's a couple of Pic's 11 years apart. My son Glyn riding his Honda Z50 at 5 Y/O catching a little air, And At 16 two day's after getting his MC license. Makes a Dad proud to have a good kid.
