There was another thread that someone was doing this can't remember. Think it might have been under either customs or accy. Talking about drilling or pounding out the plugs the bar end bolt to or after market bars so you don't mess up the stock bars etc..

I am pretty sure, newspeedmaster.com sells bars especially for this purpose.
Triumph Scrambler Diablo Red & Silver (2014), Arrow Exhaust, FI remapped with TTP #4, 16 tooth sprocket, Triumph Gel Solo seat & Rack, Progressive 440 1" lowered Shocks, SAI & O2 Removal, Airbox Restrictor Plate removed.

America with Superbars and Napoleons
With the narrower bars, stock mirrors gave me a good view of my shoulders.

I think you got that right. I think the Napoleans would be a disaster on stock bars. Your set up looks good and probably works great.
I recently installed Napoleans on my Thruxton, they were far superior to the stock mickey mouse ears. I just can't imagine they'd be an improvement with stock bars on my America.
