I beleive Triumph is getting a lot more media coverage. American Thunder had a program on this week about the Roadster Show (Califorina). First bike was a RIII custom. Last month Cycle World had two Triumphs articles.

Yep, it seems that Triumph is getting more press all the time. It just seems that they (the media.. magazines, tv shows, etc.) keep skipping over not only the best Triumphs, but the best cruisers.

As much as I want Triumph to survive I also have always been the guy who stood out on my Triumph among the Harleys and I always got the looks too they would walk right past the expensive Harley and look my my 66 TR6C chopper and I would either get wow haven't seen one of those in years!! or what is that? And the one that always made us laugh was Nice Harley!!! gotta love the stupid. In my business they make me money all the time!! LOL

675, Sprint, Scrambler, Speed Triple, Rocket III, Bonneville and the variations (America and SpeedMaster), for a small (compared to hogley and japan inc) company Triumph gets a lot of press. Might be they deserve it!

What I was trying to say was I like being different and if everyone owns one then I am no longer different.

I agree, they've now broken into the Boutique Department stores. My son's mom bought him a Triumph t-shirt from Macey's. Price $48...Shades of Harley..

I think there is always that push pull going on with Triumph owners. On the one hand you want Triumph to succeed and grow but on the other hand you like having the only Triumph in the nieghborhood.

I got in a nice ride yesterday afternoon. Pulled up next to a brand new 'o7 Harley Softail Custom (beautiful in black). The guys' comment was as he looked my Speedy over, "That's the first one of those I've actually seen".

At one time Triumphs were more frequent than Harleys and not just in England.

Individuality can only be done, it can't be bought.

It always gives me a smile everytime i see the new Wrangler jeans advert with Dale Earnhardt Jr. With the support that guys has, you would have thought the marketing people would have had him climbing off a HD, instead you see him on a Triumph

It was so great when I went to the rally last weekend I was the only one there with a Speedmaster and not even an America in site. I had so many people just stop there bikes and come and drool and chat. The best was 90% where Harley owners, life is good on a Speedmaster

I was reading that Lucky Brand Jeans are featuring a Speedmaster or Bonneville in the front window of their stores accross America. We are likely going to see kids in $200.00 jeans with Triumph t's on. It sucks because like Harley they are trying to tap in to the general consumer, not just the Motorcyle rider.

The truth is that most clothing designers are culturally very "hip" folks, they know what's cool historically. They know that what's old is new again and visa versa. For a period Triumphs may have gone out of fashion, but Triumphs never went out of style. Lemmings chase fashion, individuals have style.

Keep in mind that Mustang Seats and Vance&Hines LAUGHED at me when I inquired about their parts for our bikes. They were absolutely humored. Reminds me of the days HD & Triumph riders laughed at the Japanese motorcicle invasion.
