Hello, does anyone know where you can get real short metric hex bits. Grump you mentioned it in the tech vault. I don't need the wrench just the bits. Thanks Scott

I have a set that came with a much larger socket set. Try a sears hardware. I find differences between stores, but luckily (never thought I would say this) being on Long Island I can go to 3 or 4 of them in the same day if I really wanted to.

Got mine from Sears.
They are SK brand.
Pretty pricey.

The Sears near me didn't have them when I was looking. Snap-On used to have a really nice set but they discontinued it. Try your local Sears or check online. Wiha Tools carries a lot of that kind of stuff. I bought a couple of their 6" long bits - they come in handy too.

I bought a nice set of Metric and Standard hex bits that fit a 1/4 drive at Wiha Tools http://www.wihatools.com/ I use them with a 1/4 offset ratcheting screwdriver from sears (part # 41715), to drop my carb bowls without removing the carbs.
