How in the heck do you get the stock choke knob off? I have had terrible luck with the bolts on this side of my scoot, so I am squeamish about cranking on it. What type of tool?
Thanks
Ryan

The stock choke knob just unscrews by hand easily.

I wish that were true on my ride. I'll try again later.
Thanks Pat.

Ryan:
Mine was a little tough to get off - there might be some loctite on it. I held pliers on the back & turned - it finally let go.

Pat, u sure there's not a second nut under the knob itself as a sort of jam nut? I can't remember since I changed mine out... But I do think there was locktite.

I took a wrench and some WD-40 to it. Came right off. They loctited the bejezus out of it. I think that is what they also did to my clutch cover. Still recovering from that one.

Mine used to actually spin it was so loose. I tightened it up by hand. Can easily remove it if needed, just haven't found the "right" knob yet.

There is locktite on it. You have to grip it way down at the base with a pair of channel locks and turn. The nut molded inside the plastic knob will spin if you don't do this. Good luck
