Test rode a ROCKET today. Got a free T-shirt to prove it. Yes, it's everything you've read or heard. Absolutely stunning acceleration, braking and handling. Smoothest running bike I've ever seen. Glad I did it.

Congrats, I got to sit on one last year. It smelled great (that's about all they'd let me do). Ride safe, Dennis

Boog, I like your quote. It reminds me of something Harry Truman once said. While addressing the media he said, "Reporters are the only people who, if you lined 'em all up, would point in different directions."
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

Yeah, I got a card in the mail concerning the promo. Went up there Saturday for a completely unrelated task and forgot about the R3 thing until later that day.
Sigh... I guess no T-shirt for me!

I rode the Rocket yesterday.........it was a trip.......sounded and pulled like a tractor....a really really fast tractor.........made my speedmaster feel absolutly scrawny....the size of the rocket isn't addicting....but the pull is..

I road it Saturday 110 in 3rd and it wasn’t looking for 4th yet. It was a lot of fun to ride, but sets a lot more straight up and down then my America. I am not sure if I liked that part or not, I have kind of gotten use to the way you set on the America. Also looked at a new Sprint ST and loved it, it was sold so I could not ride it. My girlfriend fell in love the Thruxton, and said she might like to have one. The only problem is she is 5’0†and was on her tiptoes to hold it up. The guys at the shop said that if she got serious about one they think they can lower it some for her.
