the bigger the foot the more you will hate the rocker lever. it is not long enough to fit your foot between the pegs. my foot fits but I wear an 8.5 any bigger will have problems. search the tech section and you will find several discussions on the subject , including how to mod the lever to work better for you.

I rode one with the rocker lever on and hated it... and my feet are smaller. Was glad when I picked mine up and it had a normal lever.

I have a size 11 shoe and when I picked up my bike it had the Rocker gear shifter I could not wait to take it off and replace it with the stock one. My foot didn't fit beteween it, I had to ride with my foot on top of it, now that was unconfortable as you could get. I tried tlo modify it and the crome peeled off so into the spare parts box it went. A true waste of money!!IMHO

Mmm based on your experiences sounds like I should sell the brand new item. I wear size 11.5 boots so that will not work. I will check my current shifter and see if there is a way of adjusting it.

Yes you can adjust the shifter, the rod has jam nuts and you can spin it to raise and lower the pedal, like a turnbuckle kinda.
Some people have trimmed the rear peg of the rocker lever shorter so it takes up less space on the board.

I can not remember the last time I upshifted with my toe. Seriously. And that was on somebody else's bike. I had the rocker lever installed before I took delivery of the bike, and being my first motorcycle, I found it a bit awkward at first, and used the toe-shift quite a bit. I had to learn how to use it, but do like it a lot. I wear size 10.5 boots, so there is an issue of foot room, but it is not a major issue. (I rode 350+ miles yesterday, and another 325 today.) I use the rear pegs a lot when I'm "getting there" on the freeway, but when traffic, lights, or other conditions dictate, my feet are wear they belong. I could modify the rocker, or get foot boards, but after nearly 29k miles, what's the rush. It works.
