Looking at this one notice how the rider did not even flinch from his original course. So did he just not see it, did he see it and know he would make it past no problem. Just goes to show how even on that deserted road you need to have all senses awake.

I think he had not seen it, he does not even move from his line or as has already been said flinch. I bet the bloke behind him has something to say when they next stop

Bah that's nothing, coming back from DVM to reregister my van ( another story ,thanks officer ******) I was pissed off and whipping though the familiar back roads back to the office and Bambi's mom jumped out of the woods not 150 feet from me I straightened up & mashed the front brake ( good thing these bikes don't nose wheelie) & lucky for us both the deer paniced & went full speed ahead. I missed her by an arm's lenth or two. My buddy was behind me, he thought for sure it was going to be free venison. Need a new tag line "loud pipes scare deer"

I would not call that a close call. had to be at least a 100 ft between deer and lead bike.I'd call it more like a "Hey did you see that"?

It looked to me like he did flinch a little. It seemed like it was coming at him at an angle and he saw it coming! Wild!

I don't know about that, how many cagers don't see US coming even though we're bigger, have lights on and don't jump out from behind trees just in front of them. I'd bet that if he saw the deer at all it was no time to react.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
