Rivco is working on one. Brent at Newbonneville.com is or will carry them when they are ready.

Hey guys.....I've often thought about centre stands for our bikes, I was wondering if there was a centre stand from another model of bike that would allow us to use it as a workshop stand, I mean "not for road use", just one that would lift the back wheel.

Instead of doing all that why not just make the 2x6 wood stand? Check the tech vault. ModelMaker

Also an MC/ATV lift is so cheap, and adjustable. They start at $40 for one. Check Harbor Freight....you can even lift the bike up high enough to detail it and not have to bend over or sit on the ground.

I would make the 2X8 stand before I bother taking the pipes on and off just for service...

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=2792This is the link to the lift I have. It is a bit more stable than the cheapy red one. It lifts to 16", and the support pads clear all obstructions when used at the rear of the frame rails. There is a Harbor freight store near my home, so I didn't mail order it.

I got those too... At the time, my garage was so tight, it was really nice to be able to wheel around stuff. Still those stools are about 20 bucks, not bad for the convenience factor.

Of course if'n you do go to the trouble of removing the pipes think of all the red rtv that will be used in the process and thus will not be available for the after hours Red RTV Raj Majal tube club! Coming to a parking lot this May...

I got ready to throw out a nasty old 2' tall bucked up particle board TV shelf the other day, until I realized it's really a bike-side tool, beer, left over extra parts & fasteners and gee gaw shelf in TV stand disguise.
Phew! - close one.

I've got one, it's called a Sears Craftsman bike lift. It actually cost less than a Triumph centerstand and it's easier on the back.
