Hey guys I am thinking of starting a project bike, an older hardtail bobber with either the 650 or the 750 motor. I am leaning toward the 750 cause of the left side shift. I was wondering if anyone know the power rating on these motors stock, I am just curious.. Also im around 6'1 and was curious if i am going to be a little to tall for one of these older smaller bikes?? thanks

The 69 Trident was 60 HP with about 45 pounds of torque. The 60s 650s were about 48 HP with 35ish pounds of torque if I remember close to correctly. They say the Trident could do 130 MPH, I could never get that fast laying on the tank downhill but thats what "they" say.

Both of those bikes will push your knees up into the tank. Go sit on a T100 at a dealer. Same position as yesteryear. For your height I would put forward controls on it if its gonna be a HT Bobber the look would fit it better too.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Depending on the version, the 650 varied from 35 (early single carb) to 48 HP. (later Bonneville)
