I've got the rear fender taped off and ready to bob. But I'm half afraid to do it even though that is what I want.

http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/photopo...=500&page=1This guy did a good job and made it look stockish. Check out mine as well. Mine is more stripped down and raw. HACK IT OFF!!! best thing I ever did.

Well I did it & I have to admit that it doesn't look to bad. Just took a little bit of cajones to start cutting. Now I just got drill a couple holes for the tail light/license plate and find a new place for the markers on the rear. Thinking of getting the silver bullets from kuraykn for the front and back.

Goblin, Wish i had the guts to do that, Ive seen 3 fiberglass styles for sale on Ebay in the UK, they look good and are fairly cheap with built in wires. The thing is, where and how are you going to fix your plate? I like the look of the side mounted but cant seem to find them.

What I plan on using for the plate is a tail light called a "limp dick" with a plate holder underneath.

Uh..that "guy" is me. I just drank seven Molson Canadians and just started cutting. Woke up the next morning, Dremelled the edges and took it over to my local Dupont paint dude to re-paint it. I have had many people copy the cut. I take it as a compliment.

The front wheel is a custom 21"x3" that re-uses your front hub. A good motorcycle wheel shop in your area can have it done. Buchanan generally is the preferred wheel builder. I chose to use polished stainless spokes. The front wheel is a Metzler 120/70-21 tire. Brakes pads are the sintered metallic and the rotor and caliper have been chromed. It stops on a dime. With the 200 rear tire on the 5" rear wheel the bike handles better that original. But then again the bike is 2" lower than stock. I hope I answered your question. Feel free to PM me with any other questions you may have.

Where abouts on the globe are you - assume from your ebay UK hint that you are this side of the pond?
Either way, here are some links to a couple of places for you to try
Alpha Custom
Boogiemans site
Usual stuff - I have no affiliation, no guarantee's etc
If nothing here takes your fancy, use google or something to search. Bike mags are another good source of aftermarket parts
