Don't remember who's bike it was on the photo post but I finally saw some picks of pipes wraped in black. I thought it really looked great on that speedmaster and mine are the same colors too.Now my main question is am I looking at a possible rejet? Also I would like to know if I need to remove the headers to do this job?

I'm running 130s with my Sceptres. I didn't adjust anything after my exhaust wrap.

Yep that's the ride I saw on the post! Thanks for putting in the pic so I could see how one would look on my bike. Now did you have to remove the pipes to wrap it? Also what kind of clamps did you use?

I got the wrap damp and put it on with the pipes still on the bike. I used Thermotec brand wrap. It's faded to grey now, but it still looks good. The hose clamps were just cheapos from the autoparts store.

Yep, wrapped right over the heat shields.
It's an easy, cheap way change things up. Try it. If you don't like it you can just pull it off.

You can keep the wrap looking good longer if you use the high temp silicone paint made for header wrap. It does make it easier if you have the pipes off the bike, but if you are good at masking, it's dooable.
The part number for the black is : DEI-010301
