How does the belt drive compare to the chain gear ratio? Is it like a 17 tooth sprocket?
Oh man!! I'm going to jail!!

I believe it's between the 17 and 18.

It is between them, but VERY close to the original stock 17T.

The stock America came with 17/42 sprockets for a final drive of 2.47:1.
Many, like myself, have changed to 18/42 for a final drive ratio of 2.33:1.
The belt drive system only comes in a final drive ratio of 2.45:1.
This is one of my hesitations in changing. I like the 18 much better than the 17. The belt drive is almost identical to the 17. I probably wouldn't mind if were in between but closer to the 18.
