3 Questions
Who has side-gaped their spark plugs?
Did it change engine performance?
How often do you change plugs?

I have mine sidegapped. Use the standard OEM plugs and gap em. I change mine out every 5K whether they need it or not.
Hard to determine seat of the pants performance. But if a better job is done burning the fuel I am all in.

I side gap my plugs and it does improve performance. It is also easier to start no choke needed. I use the standard plugs and change them every spring they are cheap enough.

I've tried sidegapping. Empirically, I see the same results as above.

What gap are you sidegaping them at? Some say .010 less some say same ??

I do a tight 0.8mm as opposed to stock where I did a tight 0.9mm

i don't know if it was just the new plugs or not but i noticed she ran like a scalded cat with sidegapped plugs.

I side gapped mine soon after I read about it here. The seat of the pants dyno didn't pick up any improvement but certainly no decrease in performance.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Since premium gas is now $3.11 a gallon in the Metro Phx,Az area I have to ask,does it help the fuel mileage? I know in theory if it has more power it should be more effiecant.That is if you keep your hand out of it somewhat.I also know a lot of people that ride don't worry about gas too much.I feeled up today and it was not on reserve and it took almost $10. It still a lot,lot better than the old truck even goin above the speed limit.
