Why Moe? do you need one? Once my chrome cover arrives from the 50% off sale I'll have a stock one.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Umm maybe I wasn't clear? Our sickles come with no stocker ba'tree cover. Just a black plastic top cover and a chromed strap? So what is the stocker? I'm . I seek the cover that covers the left facing verticle face of the ba'tree. Should that be what you have, yes. YES (((((YES))))) Or is it Please Lord Vader, er Phil, or How many times do you have to twist the throttle before you realize you are not dreaming you big bore you.

Well I be if I was going to pay fleabay 78.09 delivered for an item I could get from a non fleabay vendor delivered for 82. Anyone want to part with their cover? As it stands now, rubber is more important than vanity.

You could also go to jo-ann fabrick and get some fake leather or something like that and glue it on.

The same thing happened to me when I installed my Westco battery. I did not like the look of the printing either. I had some aluminum deck plating that I cut out and painted black to cover the battery. It looks fairly nice. You could use some thin sheetmetal or the such and paint it the color you like. I have even thought of getting some of the chrome paint and seeing if I like that. I have also heard of takeing some muffler tape which is chrome looking and putting it on the battery. The tape is probably the cheapest way to go but not sure how it would look. For a couple of bucks you could try it out.

I took one flat sheet of stainless and bent it...made a few snips here and there for clearance...then spent about 2 hours sanding and polishing it....looks the ba!!S and cost me $0.00 (i had the stainless) you could prob do the same for $10.00-$20.00

Well. I'll have to ask wojo if he can move this thread to the Accessories section. Some great ideas you guys are presenting. So, John, can you move this thread to my section?

Me? I'll live with the writing as unlike Jackson Brown, I am not so vain.

I should send an e-mail to westco and suggest that they print the words on the other side.

Here is one that I fabbed from chrome wire mesh used for automitve grills.
About $15 minus the union jack.

Dude that looks great!!!

Sorry to steal the idea, but where did you get the flag?

I even have a break, so I could bend up some stainless.... GREAT ideas guys. If only I could do something about the lid too... I'd love to get my hands on a speedy battery strap with the holes in it, so if anyone is parting with one...

Benny, the mesh was bent on a sheet metal brake. Badges can be had at triple-c.com . Tomorrow I'll post a pic of my modified sprocket cover. It's a george foreman grill with part of the center ribs ground down flush and a union jack badge inset into that spot. Then chromed. I like it better than the battery cover.
