Do you need to replace the rim strips everytime you replace your tires and tubes? I have only 6000 on the bike and I'am going to replace both tires as the front is already on the wear lines.
Thanks,
Pete

it is just cheap insurance. put if you inspect the strips and they show no signs of wear just reuse them. they help keep the tube from rubbing on the spoke nipples.

You don't have to. Like anything else, it depends on what shape they're in. They aren't a "wear item", they just get a little funky sometimes.

For only a couple of bucks for a rim strip why not change them. Its about the cheapest think that you will ever buy for your motorcylce. Dennis
