I know you have probably covered this before but, I saw helmets really cheap at jafrum.com and they had poly or fiberglass.Who makes them for them and which is lighter, poly or glass? are those lids anygood? mike

I checked out the site. Yes they basically sell main stream helmets. As long as the helmet is listed as DOT you're good to go. I have been internet shopping for a new helmet over the last month and this site is very competitive in price & shipping. I have both poly & glass helmets, I can't tell the difference. I buy a new half helmet ever year because they get so gross from sweat, plus it's always nice to have a dry one around.

Actually went back to the Jafrum site and bought another retro Davida clone helmet, silver & black. I had already purchased a black one from Helmetsrus and liked it alot. The difference is that Jafrim was much cheaper, both price & shipping. Jafrum got it to me in 3 days, Helmetrus took 11.

I did the Jafrum thing this morning. I haven't found anyone cheaper with anything they carry. Seems they must be first a wholesale outlet then retail also. They alway show cheaper yet pricing in quantity. Their selection isn't all that varied - basicaly just hemets, leather and such - But what the sell does have lower prices.

I've been looking for the invoice, but all I found was the picking ticket. If I remember correctly shipping was like $9 UPS Ground to Kansas City. I know it was cheaper than the HelmetsRUs shipping, plus it showed up in 3 days somehow.
