Anyone know where the Hole Saw that was modified to cut out the baffles is at? I would like to give it a try.
Thanks, Grapeman

You might contact "MikeSr", he was the one that designed the monster"holesaw". There maybe two circulating and he usually knows where at least one is. My advice would be to use at least a 1hp hd drill. I used a lttle 1/2 B&D drill and it didn't have quite enough ooomph and the holesaw kept getting hung up and the drill would quit. The first baffles you can get out with just a drill, but the second set you need the holesaw. Goodluck!

I would like to use the hole saw also or if someone posted a drawings I could make one. How do you get the first baffles out with just a drill? I could try that while waiting.

I have one of the 1-1/2" and one of the 1-1/4" saws on the way back to me. There is another 1-1/2" out there somewhere. I'll post up when they return. If anyone wants to use them in Georgia, I'll bring them along. All I did to make them was cut bi-metal bit in 2 and weld in a piece of same size tubing (appx 30") between the pieces. Grind down the welds and have at it: not very hi-tech, but cheap thrills that sound pretty good. Send me a ship to address if you want to try one.

Email sent to Mike!
Thanks!
Question, does this hole saw go around the pea-shooter tube or do I still need to knock it out?

I just got a metal drill bit and drilled holes as close to each other as I could around the baffle and then you can pull it out with channel locks or pliers. At first I was just going to drill the holes and see if that made a difference in the sound but the holes weren't enough.

What he said. Even though I had the hole saw, I ended up using a 3' (yes, 3 feet long) 1/2" drill bit to remove the first baffle as described above and then drill 4 holes in the second baffle. Sounds perfect to my ears. i.e. much louder than stock, much quieter than any of the aftermarket pipes I've heard.
