Thinking of putting alloy wheels on my America. Anyone know the cheapest place to get them?

I've looked and can't find any for our bikes. I'm sure you could get a custom built, but that's lotsa $$$$$$$. Maybe wheels for another manufacturer would be close enough to use them with minor mods.

Put a post in the classifieds to swap with someone. There may be a new America or Speedy buyer who wants wire spokes.

I found last yeras Speedmaster rims for $1500 from Pure Triumph. Those were new. I would be wary about buying used rims becuase they may have cracks that don't show up.

That's why I'd find someone on this site to trade with - I wouldn't just buy a set off ebay. New or known, only.
