Can anybody give me any advice on whether the stock cables and brake hoses will work with Baron drag bars.I am just installing them and it looks pretty tight. Can you run the cables under tank differently or do they have stay on the left hand side. Help a confused Welshman!!

MAny folks have run the throttle cables to the right, even with stock bars. Go for it! I also put on smaller bars, so I actually needed to take up slack, so I routed my clutch cable around under the steering head behind the light. Works great.

I have Barons drag bars. Stock length control cables will reach just fine if you have an America. They take the same route as stock. You can look at my photos in the photo section. Comfort is WAY better and there is no comparison with the looks.

Thanks for the info, I have a speedmaster I think the cables will be fine its the brake hose that is the problem.Your bike looks real good, any tips you can pass on in routing the electrical harness through the handle bars. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Mog someone else had some questions recently about bar wiring in the tech section. Some of us put together a whole write up on it and it is on Sandmann's website. Check out the electrical or how-to section in the tech vault. Great instructions great pics. Piece of cake. If you are worried about the brake lines, good time for some SS braided upgrades

Mog, when I changed my bars to some chrome werks T-bars they pulled back about 3 inches and for mt brake lines I switched them left to right down below to give me more line. Just so I wouldn't have to fuss with it more I also re routed it out of the bracket. no problems. good luck.

Mike,
Did you hide your wiring inside the bars, if so any tips on routing the wires and did you have to do any splices to extend the wire harnes?
Thanks
Mog

I have just run the wires and getting ready to pick up my steel braided brake hoses. I have one question for Soul Survivour; did you have trouble with the bars lining up with the holes in the triple tree. I have had them slaved on so far but it seems like one bolt has some interferrance. Did you open the hole with a reamer to allow more play or was your installation ok?
Thanks
Mog1

Lined up OK. No aftermarket bar is perfect and that included mine. Just tighten each side a little as to not cross thread anything. Did you buy the radius drag bar? If so what is the part #? I'll check to see if it the same as mine.
