Well after much derailment of this thread, I can tell you that you need the metric adapter kit, and whatever size silver bullets the adapter kit will fit into. From memory it's the 5/16" lights, which also let you run the power cable through the mount and hide it under the fender.

5/16 is a better choice.

Thanks for all the wonderful replies! In between drinking a coors light and watching the lone ranger i was looking on kuryakans site the only adapter i can find is a 3/8"-16 x M8-1.25 . From the picture it looks like the metric goes in fender until it stops against nut and 3/8" goes into light housing. Would it matter 3/8" 0r 5/16" as long as you have same light? Thanks Benny & Sandmann....

Michael,
First of all welcome to this site.
When I bought mine I got the 3/8" Small Bullets.
You're right about the adapter though. The metric end screws into the fender strut and the 3/8" end lets you mount the lights. Kuryakyn part number 2289
I don't think they make an adapter for the 5/16" mount.

Tony thanks for your input. It also looks like the 5/16" wiring comes out a seperate hole. Just placed my order thanks.

See? That's what happens when a non-american tries to give advice on parts that're still measured in the archaic system you yanks insist on using.

All I know is that you need whichever lights fit the adapter that changes them to a SANE system.
