Was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get Visor's for the headlight and lightbar lights?

I bought mine as a set (3) from VTS Parts on Ebay. They were a little pricier than others, but unlike others at the time, required no modification (bending/snipping) to make them fit. It was a 20 minute cuss-less job.

Regards,

Tom

Gosh, where's the sport in that! I used the Cobra bit and after three days realized I might not need the wire retainer piece included. I also needed more than the two hands supplied at birth to hold the assembly together and had to run out and make friend

Tom,
you got yours on without cussing?
i am impressed. like JH i needed an extra hand or two. the landlord's cat offered
a paw; but i think he only did that to see if i would accept.
oh yeah, definitely a wireless fit.

Ugh.....I just got the Cobra set from Ma's. This sounds like it may be an adventure....So, I don't need the big bucket handle thingy that came with the headlight visor.

"Bending, cutting, snipping" it appears I have purchased a big old pain in the azz. I will attempt the install this weekend.

If I remember accurately, and it's been a few years, the driving light visors mount up pretty straightforward. The main light - - - forget about using the enclosed retainer (they include that bit to confuse the unsuspecting), but pay close attention to how the clips come out of the light housing as alignment and tolerances become oddly important when it's all supposed to go back together. And one more thing, we neither encourage nor condone cussing, although it is understood and at times expected .

Well, I just finished up the visor install. Thanks for the advice about the spring retainer thingy in the headlight...I marked it coming out. I also threw the wire retainer from Cobra in the trash and did a little "modifying " on the tabs. If I had not had all the above advice it would have been a cuss fest for sure, thanks to all who offered the tips.

Mission accomplished! Oh yeah, they look SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!
