Carb Jetting Instructions For CVK Carbs

Yank them carbs out now

Getting the carbs out now that everything is loose is not that hard. First place a big soft towel under the carbs so you don't scratch anything on your motor while doing this.
Now straddle the bike and grab a carb in each hand. Twist downward and to the right slightly while pulling back as hard as you can. The carbs should pop off and be loose in you hands after a few seconds of manipulating and some strong urging. At this time it helps to remove the carb intake rubbers and place them aside. This gives more room to pull the carbs out the side of the bike. Pull the carbs out carefully and place them on the thick towel to the left side of the motor.

Notice that I did not remove the throttle linkage cables. It is not necessary, just use care not to twist them around too much and you should be fine. The arrow is pointing to the carb retaining clamps, I paced them on each side to keep them safe. On to the next step.
