Removing the old pads
Remove the innermost pad first
Remove the innermost pad, the larger of the two pads, by just wiggling it out with your fingers. If it is stuck, pry it out but be careful not to damage any other parts. It should come out quite easily.
Remove Outer Pad
The outer pad may be a little tougher to get out, is may need some slight convincing to break loose. Once it does, just take it out like the other pad. Notice which pad goes where! They will not go in backwards or on the wrong side.Be careful that nothing gets down into the piston areas of the assembly.
Check out all the parts.
This is what you should now have all dis-assembled. Notice the pad on the left, see the wear indicator that is circled, it is worn just to where the indicators are starting to fade. This is being changed at the optimum time, not too far gone, but enough where it's worth the time and effort.
