Rear Retaining pins and caliper mounting bolts
Remove the retaining pins
Loosen the (2) - 5mm allen retaining pins. They are only threaded about the first 1/2 inch and will usually stop coming out when you have loosened all the threads. Do not completely remove them just yet though, they are holding the pads in the caliper assembly.
Remove brake line clip and clamp
Before we pull the caliper assembly, we need to remove 2 more bolts to allow for easier movement of the assembly. Remove the 10mm bolt holding the clip to the rear of the caliper housing. it has a wire loop on it and this need to be free. Just let it slide down the brake line for now. Then remove the 8mm bolt holding the brake line behind the rear footpeg assembly. This gives us another couple of inches of slack in the brake line. Just put the bolts you remove back in their holes so you don't misplace them or mix them up. Again, allow the cable clamp to just slide on the brake line, it won't get in the way.
Remove Caliper mounting Bolts
Next, remove the (2)-14mm bolts holding the brake caliper assembly.
Now you can remove the retaining pins completely. You may have to wiggle them to get them out, they have a little spring tension pressing down on them. Once you get them out you can now just lift the entire assembly up and out of the way of the wheel. Be careful not to twist too much on the brake line. You can just give it a flip over so you can see the underside for easier dis-assembly.
