Adjusting the carbs

Before you make any adjustments, you must blip the throttle and let it settle for 20-30 seconds each time. The adjustment is a very fine adjustment. I usually tweak the screw about a pubi-meter each time, blip the throttle and let it settle before making another adjustment. I have never gone more than 1/4 turn total adjustment on the screw. A little goes a long way here, make fine adjustments, don't go screwing the screw around 2-3 turns, you will be all messed up if you do.
I can't emphasize enough TINY adjustments each time. As you turn the screw to the right,(looking down from the rear of the bike) this will cause the right carb to raise vacuum and the left carb to lower vacuum. So use that as a reference.

These shots show what you should end up with. The sliders will bounce up and down a little and that makes it hard to get a good picture with them exactly right. Once you get to this point you will see exactly what I mean though.
