Carb Syncronizing Instructions For CVK Carbs

Connecting the gas lines.

You need to be sure that the gas tank is higher than the carbs. Gravity sucks and you will need more gas than the carbs have when you removed the tank. I placed my tank on a couple of saw horses with a thick blanket underneath the tank.
I bought an 8 foot piece of 5/16" ID vinyl hose for a gas line extender. I also used a 5/16" stainless steel barrel connector. You can get a cheap nylon one, I just happen to use this size in my brewery and have a lot of little SS connectors around. You then connect the vinyl hose to the carb intake gas hose using the 5/16" barrel as pictured in the right photo. You don't need to worry about clamping the hoses, they are pretty snug by themselves. But safety may dictate otherwise, you be your own judge of this.

I connected the gas line extender to the petcock on the underside of the tank. The below right picture is everything all set to go.
