Wow nature is really not being kind to those especially in the Palisades area, the photos and videos are really scary. I am in Cambodia so wake up to news reports of brave firefighters doing their best to contain the fires but the Santa Anna winds are foiling most attempts. Wishing for a miracle for those desperate people I heard 100000 displaced so far.

It really sucks if the gov't had done their job it may not have been as bad. The gov. cut around 17 million from the firefighters , the greenies wouldn't allow forest floor care and controlled burns to help prevent this, and those greenies also wouldn't allow water collection for just such an emergency so now in one of the highest taxed areas they tap into a hydrant and there is no water. I feel bad for the people especially since insurance companies dropped coverage for many of these people shortly before the fires. ( I can't remember what company it was)
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!

Fire Aid is on later today (tomorrow morning for me) Toss a few coins in the collection plate to help out no matter what you think was or was not done and darn those Santa Anna winds and not a drop of rain for months. I am sure many are not in a great position and anything can help especially when every dollar will be doubled.
