Just wanted to note my 06' America has 128,000 miles and still going strong!!!
Does anyone have any longer life from a America.
I'm hoping to get 200,000 miles or until it dies!!
Hoping to get some feedback on this thread.

I went over 100k on my 2003 America about 6 years ago. Since then only about 8k more. But about 22K on the 2017 Trophy.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

For me these days it's easier to access the Facebook Bonneville America group......and far easier to post photos etc.
I check in here fairly frequently though.
I've been working through my new to me TBA ( my 5th one altogether)and am delighted with it. It's totally factory standard and I'd like to change the pipes but a) there not much around to choose from and b) it's running like a dream in standard trim and I'm reluctant to fix it if it ain't broke.
In days gone by I'd have had the air injectors off and the exhausts changes within days of buying it.
Old age,eh?

Right on, Alatamoc, things change with age. For example, I immediately put a set of TORS on my second BA and took them off a day or two later - too loud!

My first BA had several aftermarket pipes - Bubs, Thunderbikes, and Specialty Spares over the years.

But now I like the stockers.

Definitely old age.

Also I found myself remembering that a set of ToRs make it sound a little better but, frankly, not a lot.
So why bother with resetting etc for a slightly less weedy sound.
Actually There's a bit of me really likes it being a discreet gentleman's express.
