Back in November I got a recall notice regarding the "possible clearance problem between the oil cooler pipe and starter motor positive cable". What's up with this? I didn't get the first recall thing done because I never had problem with my rear brakes failing, but this got my attention because of the warning that "Avoiding this modification could cause a possible electric short circuit and fire." I really have not ridden my bike much since this came out but did everyone get the notice and have many of you all gotten it taken care of? Thanks. PS

I just received mine in the mail last week. Just have to wait for the snow to melt, get warmer, and take a two hour ride to the dealer.

Hey Paul,
The brake recall would only affect you if you dropped the bike (on the left side) and then it's still a maybe. However, it's probably a good idea to get it done.
On the oil line/starter cable recall, you can look at this yourself and see if it is an issue that needs attention.

Like you I received this notice and still have not had the rear brake mode performed. I was thinking of having both done sometime in February. I might have to plan a rode trip down to Palm Bay Triumph. Just not sure I want any of the dealers around me working on the bike.
