I have found a battery locally that fits our bikes. It's an Interstate battery CYTX12-BS, runs about $60.
Thanks again to everyone who posted in the last thread.
And this time I even posted in the right spot so there's no extra work for anyone.

Since Robert still needs something to do instead of that 20 minutes a day he wastes on sleeping and such, it would be a great thing if an archive were added here with replacement part numbers like this.

Someone was working on a part number cross reference spreadsheet...... anyone remember who? I have a copy of it somewhere, can't remember who sent it to me... I think Pat or Phil might remember. Once completed it could be added to the downloads section, and then periodically updated but whoever...

That was beanache (Paul) who started that. I have a copy also. Without Robert's involvement, it is going nowhere...

I thought we could post something to the downloads ourselves? Or maybe it needs an approval... Hmmmm, I wonder how it would look converted to a JPEG and posted in someone's gallery?

The thought was to have the spreadsheet up where members could add to it or in lieu of that, someone to maintain it...

Jim, PM me your e-mail and I'll send you a copy.

Phil, I agree. If I think of something I'll let you know. Maybe even something as simple as a sticky thread?

The problem is that Robert does not allow uploads or attachments. We would have to have special dispensation from the Grand Poobah (aka Robert)!

I will work on that...

This is something more for the forum help section probably, but how long after something is posted do you have to edit it? If we made a sticky threat at the top of the section, people could add to the list and whoever started it, or a moderator, could simply cut and paste into the first message of the thread to "update" it. No? I know it's a bit of a pint, but it's a start till we can roust Roberto.

Hey Ben, That a great idea and would work if an individual post could have it's editing time limits altered.

Yeah I wonder if a Moderator can have unlimmited editing time?
