Watched it again on TCM last night...almost forgot how much I enjoy seeing Steve McQueen & Bud Ekins on those German Triumphs!

I was watching a show on history channel about the escape just this week. Almost all of them got captured again.. Bummer. Cool jump though. I wouldnt want to try it on that bike.

Steve McQueen Desert Racer. Look it up, great documentary with Steve and Bud. A local MC dealer used to ride with Bud and Steve at the ISDT the son has an old BSA 441 that he rode in it.
I mentioned this film once before however there are only two pages of previous posts so cant refer to it.
The rest of the cast was pretty good as well.
