Recently we had to do some upgrades to BA.com to keep things up and running which led us to be out of commission for a couple of days. Now I'm happy to say that thanks to our administrator Moe's dedication and our newly appointed Admin jackshakes (Jake) tech savvy,we have a new format that should carry us into the next several years.. or 15 minutes the way computer technology advances these days... but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Hopefully we can resurrect the site a bit with these upgrades.. a few more bells and whistles maybe.. no cool pic on the header but hey, we'll see what happens. Site attendance has dropped a good bit over the past several years and Moe alone has been bearing the financial burden for keeping the site afloat.. several members have donated a few bucks over the years but it has been awhile. But still we couldn't see just letting this old familiar place that many of us have called home, built friendships and have been inspired to take a cross country motorcycle trips to meet some strangers who happen to ride the same kind of bikes as you, fade quietly away or just disappear.
I'll be sending Moe some $ to help with the costs of the upgrade and we will likely set up something where members can donate as well if they'd like. It's really not that expensive to maintain and a couple of bucks goes a long way.

So Jim.. Jake.. thank you guys for coming through and keeping our website alive and on the air.

Kudos to everyone who helped keep our old forum alive! When BA.com disappeared, I think I was suffering withdrawals! I think the place looks great. Thanks folks!
