Does anyone have a good source or coupon for engine oil? I have gone through my case I had stashed from when someone had a coupon a couple years ago and I'm having a hard time finding anything for less than $10/quart even in bulk...

You can sign up as an Amsoil dealer and get a better price on that. I only run Amsoil in my bike.

You can get full synthetic 10/40 motorcycle oil called Quick Silver at Walmart online for $5.55 per qt. But if you only change your oil every 6,000 miles or once a year might as well get the good stuff.

Pepboys runs sales through EBay. Typical price is $30 (sometimes less) delivered, for a $55-60 Gal of Synthetic Motul, Castrol, Mobile One, etc.
I run Synthetic made for Diesels with all the right specs. $21 a Gal from Walmart. I also change out the filter every 3000 and the oil at 6000.

And Ryk, that's interesting. I used to own an older wing, and some also used the Delo/Rotella in their bikes. You are using the same?

Made by Mercury. Maybe they might know a little about high winding machines and corrosion.

Yea, that's the stuff, I figure that if the oil will withstand the rigors of a tight tolerance diesel engine and the specs that are required are stated on the bottle, it should work. And so far it has, for many miles.

I have always run the Rotella T Synthetic as well. I used to use the Purolator pure one oil filters before the redesign, now I just use the Fram motorcycle oil filter. I can get both at Walmart for around $28. I change both every 4,000 miles.

Thanks, JD! Will keep that in mind.

I only run AMSOil and I just order the oil change kit from Fast Eddy. Comes with oil, filter, and crush washer.

Hmm, I'll be taking note of that.

By the way, just in case anyone’s interested, my old contact is selling a few 20 Inch Truck Wheels. If anyone’s interested, feel free to PM me.
