Yes, I actually got out this weekend. Felt like a zombie after 6 /8 weeks inside. In years past I've been lucky enough to ride 12 months out of the year with breaks in the weather.
Not this winter, rain constantly, snow, cold and my bones hurt

I'll see you good people in May.

If you live on the road, well there's a new highway code
You take the urban noise with some dirt with poison
It's gonna lessen your load

30 days in the hole

I would love to go however about three years ago I was diagnosed with end stage renal failure.I also went through prostate cancer which thankfully I was treated for and cured.I go to dialysis three times a week,Monday, Wednesday and Friday which leaves me with a small time window to attend a weekend rally.I am on the kidney transplant list which hopefully I will recieve a kidney soon.Really miss the rallies and my Triumph brothers.Hope you all have a safe and fun time.Really miss you guys.Maybe next year...sigh..

But we did smile.....Oh, by the way, that spankin' new Speedmaster is off to the salvage auction yard. She totaled it Memorial Day. Bummer.

dang Wade Im sorry to hear that. Is she okay ?
Posted By: Wade Re: GA '19 - 06/10/2019 4:14 PM
Yeah, sorta. She had spinal surgery and hobbling with a walker. I'm a Walker too, but I don't hobble, I sorta bounce around like a meth squirrel. Minimal road rash but no broken bones, just a low back injury, L-2,3,4. Bikes are replaceable. Hourglass has a '19 just like it still in the crate.
Posted By: mikemm03 Re: GA '19 - 06/10/2019 5:08 PM
Brother you are being a bit too cryptic. Did both of you go down in the same accident? Same bike, different bike ?
Posted By: Wade Re: GA '19 - 06/10/2019 7:23 PM
Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, two bikes. We were on a Patriot Guard event on Memorial Day, and riding back, she pulled out in front of a car and got clipped. I was on Lola and she was on the '18. I helplessly saw the whole scenario.
Posted By: mikemm03 Re: GA '19 - 06/10/2019 10:21 PM
Wowzer, glad she's still with us. Hope she heals quickly and is 100%.
Posted By: Two_Wheel_n Re: GA '19 - 06/11/2019 8:50 AM
Sorry to hear, hope she has a speedy recovery.
Posted By: moe Re: GA '19 - 06/19/2019 8:31 AM
Dang hope she is getting along. Walkers are cumbersome. No not you...
When she graduates to a cane, get a nice wood un. Not one of those fugly aluminium ones. Hugs to all!
Posted By: Wade Re: GA '19 - 07/15/2019 2:39 AM
I paid 13,600 before fees for that '18. They want the same for a '19 just like it. Found an identical '18 in Olathe, Kansas for 10,700. Gonna go pick it up in a couple of weeks......she's sloooowwly getting better, retired the aluminum walker yesterday.
