I was just kickin back and surfin the interwebs and thought I'd see if any of you old dogs were still here. I first stumbled upon Chy's 'A Beautiful Day' and was first delighted to see that I'm not the only one to fall over whilst forgetting to put a foot down but, more importantly, to see all those names. It did my heart good to see them. Just want to say how much I'd enjoyed those days and I miss you all. I'll have to stop by more often. Take care.

YES! You do. I usually drop by every day to see if anything or what's going on.

I usually check in the website every other day.
Winter is fast approaching no riding till next spring unless there some very unusual warm spell to get America out.
139,000 miles all put on by me. 2006 one of the last carburated Triumphs.
Still runs great, in part to Daren at RED LINE power sports in Winsted CT.
He does almost all the repairs the bike needs.
I hate going to Libby's motor-world its 50 miles away in New Haven CT.
10/10/23 at 7:10pm I was rear ended while turning left onto my street.
$9,000 worth of damage to my 2015 Toyota Rav-4.
Two weeks later my back, right hip and groin became so painful I could barely walk or stand.
I did some chiropractic for 12 visits. Some help.
Three physical therapy treatments and I'm far better than the chiro treatments.
I'm able to walk without severe pain.
If you were in an accident and were injured what type of treatment did you seek?

I try to look in at least once a week, just to if anything interesting is going on. And sometimes there is!

The numbers really dropped during Covid a time when everyone was on line so I sincerely hope that we didnt actually lose some to it. At least Keith did a proper Colin James "I just came back to say goodbye" LOL He was kind of ticked off that some didn't agree with his belief that jet airplanes are distributing harmfull chemicals in their con trails. Who knows maybe he is one of the 15 lurkers looking at this forum at the moment.

Yeah, some of us are still here.. It's been awhile since I have been able to ride though. I had knee surgery several weeks back and doc says I shouldn't ride yet. It's been cold anyways.I have been slacking on checking in lately, I need to do better. Good to see some fresh posting though.

I check in often but rarely post.

The NY winter will keep me from riding for a couple months. Before I retired, I would ride year round when the roads were clear but lately, I'm spoiled by the heater in the truck.

Sorry to hear of the knee surgery, that's a tough recovery. A few of us are still here, not much posting though. I have actually been considering HD because of access to parts and service. I have been dealing with Hermys for decades starting when Hermy Jr's dad and mom ran the place and he was a kid in the garage. I never thought I would consider HD, probably won't happen but the thought crosses my mind.

Hello fellows, Glad to see some of us are still alive... I also have to state that I've been a bit of a slacker when it comes to posting on this site. I'm still riding my Rocket. I've even towed it down to the States a couple of times during the winter, but not this year. Over the last couple of years my wife and I have spend a lot of time out at the cottage/lake back home renovating and repairing some of the infrastructure. This cut into my riding time and also cut into any disposable cash I might have had to purchase a new America/Speedy. Still in the market for one but there aren't many around. I do miss the banter we used to have 15 or so years ago. It seemed like there was a problem and solution posted every day on this site. The anticipation and excitement we all expressed when the Thunderbird came out was another highlight. Now it too is gone. Glad some of you guys aren't though.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year gang. All the best going forward.
