Finally! After a year of doing without I re-established one of my parts supply and even then some! More options across the board! I'll be busy the next few weeks getting items on the site, do not hesitate to throw ideas my way! Some of the old tried and true and some new options I didn't have before.

eddy
Cool, Eddy. I was just on your site today looking around for something new. I'm looking forward to you getting some new stuff up. CAN'T WAIT.
Oh...You know what I would like to see. Some Friggin' shift rods. NOBODY has cool shift rods for our bikes, or any at all for that matter, except the beefier one that looks just like stock. I've been thinkin of making my own...we'll see.

Just ONE of the MANY side effects of severe Chromeholism.

We got to get that guy in a 12 step program or something, Erle.

surely you don't mean anything towards me with that
sorry eddy, I seem to be the reason your thread has taken a serious detour

OK well back on topic

FastEddy, for some reason when I try to go to your site my computer prompts
me to save the "file" fasteddysports.com but will not load the web site.
Well, I can't make that happen for me...nothing should be making that happen. Were you looking at a specific area?

Not to worry Dave!

I'm able to see the site now. Eh, go figure.

I know for a fact that the the levers will cross over from 05-07 Speed Triples to an 07 SM. I had to do it for a temporary fix between my bikes and I am probably gonna do it permanently in the Spring.
So I haven't seen anything new on the site ...just wondering if you're still working on it and getting some new stuff...it's christmastime!!!

I'm still putting in my two cents for some cool shift rods.

Hope you're well, Eddie, and congrats on your radio interview.

You don't see what you need, please ask, I have been swamped trying to get things up. It is taking me longer than I suspected because I have more things available to me than I imagined before and it's hard to tell what to priorities as well as confirming fitment issues. So I am working hard at it. Again, if you see something you need please let me know and I'll do my best for you.

I hope I didn't come off like I was rushing you eddy. I certainly didn't mean that.
Just looking forward to new stuff to buy.

No Bro, you did not come off that way, I was in no way offended. I needed gentle reminder to keep focused, so really, thank you!
Posted By: DunnSpeed Re: Fast eddy Sports, New Stuff! - 12/22/2009 5:55 PM
Well since your here...
In all seriousness, I'm dying for a shift rod that's different. If you had some that were custom looking and substantial/beefy, I would buy one. I wonder if there is interest out there from the others on shift rods though.

A Christmas drinking game maybe? Sounds good to me !

Come on Eddy what about shift rods like the one above. Ill be in that.
Have access to those but right now Dunnspeed and I are trying to figure out what length we can get along with for our bikes. Most of what are made are in the 10-13 inch range. There are adjustments that can be made but not sure how much you can take up without loosing functionality.
Made my first purchase with Fasteddy just now....slippery slope!
What did ya get Steve? You're right every time I buy something from Eddy,I say "that'll do it"
I should add "for NOW"

Nology coil for the wife's Bonnie, Have to make a list for my bike now.
Resistance is futile.
Check out the smoke indicator lenses with orange bulbs while you're on the site.Or ask Eddy to send you some pics
[I've still got no camera]

Nine days to NZ, Now thats service Eddy. Thanks, Just need to fit the thing now.
I have bought thousands (and I mean thousands) worth of stuff from Eddy, never ever disappointed, that man goes beyond at times in order to get stuff right for his customers.
Posted By: Cloudy Re: Fast eddy Sports, I broke the glass ceiling! - 07/31/2015 10:07 PM
Sure does. Coil fitted....wasn't my problem....what to buy next?.....
Just bought an America 2005
Just joined this site
Just placed my first small order with eddy
Just writing this to get my post count up
Anyone here can tell you Eddy is the man, he has been known to take parts off his own stuff to get you going if he doesn't have what you need in a pinch. Great guy, I have only spoken with him on the phone but really nice guy too.
Posted By: Wade Re: Fast eddy Sports, I broke the glass ceiling! - 10/05/2015 5:59 PM
Kryptonite will make him curl up into quivering fetal position, though.
You know if I ran a website specializing in certain bikes with a devoted following I think I would offer a sign in area for frequent flyers and let them create a wish list of what they want to purchase for their bikes.
That might give you an idea of what is trending.
A really smart guy would ask for spouse e-mails to send out birthday and Christmas ideas to our loved ones.

Just sayin
There was a wish list thread somewhere.
Got the crossed flag stickers and a tee. It was kinda a let down. I kept looking for a man in a cape, but he left them in the mail box.

Really,

It is amazing how much a little sticker can add to the overall look and the quality of the tee is awesome.

I am putting together a wish list. There are many more orders to follow Eddy.

Got to do something over the cold winter ahead.

I know. I has two of 'em. Look below.
Dear Mr. Ed,

I noticed that my brake lever on my 05 is bent. Do you have a source for the stock brake lever or have a recommendation on upgrades?

I am also about ready to purchase the wider pillion seat for my wife. Now I am in no way making any reference about my wife's beautiful bottom. Just trying to provide the lovely lady the support she deserves.

Smooth.....real smoooooth.....
Sorry for the delay in responding. Had a flooded basement take out my internet and phone so I am cut off to access some of my sources. Will see what I can do today regarding the levers. Can get stock replacements.

eddy
NO worries. Got all winter to get things together. Hope everyting is high and dry now.
I think the Memphis Shades Alley Cat is the right screen for my bike.

It appears there are 2 different lowers. Which would you recommend with the Alley Cat?

Can the Memphis Shades storage Case be used to protect the windscreen when it is on the bike?

Any other recommendations in fitting this setup?

Thanks

Best to e-mail me.

2005 TBA Green
You can use either the upper or lower. Lower is the traditional location.

Eddy
You have two kits

Custom Plastics Lowers

and

Extended Lowers

I was thinking the Alley Cat and Custom Plastics lowers.
Then the question is Solar or Clear?

I am sure I would be happy with either, but since I have all this experience here why not take advantage of it.

Being bashful does not seem to be an issue here.

I can tell you after reading the forums I am going to get the 19 tooth front sprocket. I have not had the bike that long, but am always trying to shift her into 6th gear.

I am not sure if these questions should be here or under customization. I could e=mail you but then others could not learn from my inquisitive nature and stupidity.
Posted By: Wade Re: Fast eddy Sports, I broke the glass ceiling! - 12/15/2015 2:05 PM
Dear Billy Indiana,

Go with the clear Alley Cat, I have one on Lola. The tinted one will look like you have a black trash bag over it. And speaking of storage cases, do you plan to fly and carry your windshield with you ? TSA will wonder about you, much like they wonder about me when I fly. If you are worried about your windshield getting scratched up sitting in your garage, then get a black plastic trash bag and put over it prophylactically. I hope this sheds illumination upon your dilemma and you emerge from the Valley of Decision glowing with enlightenment. Best wishes, and stay green.

Sincerely, Captain Weedwhacker
Billy,

I have a Hell Cat screen on my America. It is the solar tint and I like it very much. It is not too dark, just a slight difference from the clear. You would probably be happy with either one.
Billy, the extended lowers are somewhat better looking as they are slimmer and longer so the afford more air flow disruption. They would work best on the lower tubes and give you more flexibility.

For other looking on, this is for use with the bikes with lower fork shrouds.

Standard Lowers

Extended Lowers

Eddy
OK so I think the answer will be the clear alley cat with the extended lowers so when I meet Wade and he sees a dressed out green 2005 and he will forever regret selling the one he is getting rid of.

I think instead of the storage cover I will get those clear turn signal lenses.

I am also thinking about purchasing the chrome speedometer cable loop for the front fender just so people can look at it and know I was stupid enough to spend $60.00 on that thing.

I thinks I will take the chrome speedometer loop off of Gwendolyn (the bike that I'm getting all emotional over) and sell it to you for 40.00
Thanks buddy. You are a pal!!!

Making an e-mail list for un-advertised specials for items I want to move or lower inventory items. The reason for a list is that some suppliers do not allow for advertising openly some sales (MAP) however any dealer can sell something for whatever they want to someone walking in off the street. Admission to this list is strictly based on the sales not being forwarded or posted in public.

I only place people on this list who want to be on it. I BCC the list so no one can grab e-mails or forward my list on. I do not sell the information or pass it on for any reason. You can asked to be removed at any time.

E-mail me if you would like to receive information on specials. Please place Specials in the subject.

Wife let me order my Alley Cat Windscreen. Oh Boy!!! I will get the lowers soon. Got a list to work through, but every time I go the Eddy's site the list gets longer not shorter. It is black magic.
