What's the difference between the $700 cocktail shakers from British Customs and the $120 set from HERE?
580 bucks

Better baffles are the difference and the Emgo s are a little shorter I think. Paughco makes some budget priced ones too, at least they used to.

Are the Emgo mufflers chrome or stainless steel? The BC Shakers are stainless steel.

Emgo s are Chrome plating on steel.
Nothing better than stainless but it will cost ya. The stainless exhaust on my 64 BMW still looks like new and it came with the bike. That bike had been left out in a field partly disassembled long enough for the seat to fall apart and the exhaust still looks great.
I just put the Emgos on my America. Pretty happy with them too. Now it sounds like the Fire Breathing Icon of Rebellion that it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwAQat30ZI4

Sounds great! I just ordered the emgo's myself, can't wait to hear how they sound on the 904!

I did stuff a stainless steel pot scrubber in them to take the edge off. I used these from scotch Brite. http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Brite-Stain...ailpage_o00_s01

Those Brillo pads look like a lot of restriction or did you stuff a perforated tube down the middle?
Nope. Just the crappy baffle that came with the emgos.

I made up some CTail baffles awhile back, I probably got carried away, that happens when you're retired and bored. baffles I won't be going back to fiberglass packing, stove door rope holds its own with any other medium I have tried.
I did that with the scotch brite and one day shot two fireballs out of the bike. My friend riding behind me thought it looked impressive. Just a warning.

You lost your packing because nobody I'm aware of, offers a decent fitting metal baffle insert for C.Shakers.
