OP motorcycleman Adjunct Joined: Apr 2013 Posts: 205 Ohio-USA	Went for a short ride the other day after oil change. I see now what looks like some fine oil spray on right side of heat shield mid way on pipe. Not sure if it is oil or not. Oil no where else on bike. No leaks on filer or drain plug. Oil is almost 3/4 way up site glass. Any ideas guys ? Last edited by motorcycleman; 06/09/2013 12:51 PM.

I have tar/oil on the undersides of my pipes from running through that crap a few years ago in Canadia. Maybe go for another ride in the opposite direction and see what comes up. OR Dont worry about it unless you see it dripping off the bike (I know someone will disagree with this). You know, Could be chain lube. I did that a couple weeks ago. Going for a ride now. Will keep a eye on it for sure. Thanks for the input. But no.
