Yep, mostly un-scouted route but , hey, I've got the road numbers written down and we might even enjoy getting a little lost :-)

Okay, Mike and anyone else looking for a fun day in the region: Mapco at exit 25 on I-75 at 9am. Fuel and potty break and maybe a cuppa and then kick-stands up off we go toward Fall Creek Falls state park, the Alvin York highway leading to a hidden jewel of a road over Signal Mtn in Chattanooga and a loop up over Monteagle. Bring your camera and maybe something to keep you dry for the not forecast but sure to happen afternoon sprinkle.

Best one day interstate rally ever :-) Logged 450+ miles of smiles, sweepers, twisties and just plain fun. Throw in a life size elephant painted Tn. Orange, a fire truck with hot rod flames, and some pretty average BBQ from a legendary restaurant. And, hot, hot, hot in the valleys. Hey Mike, I'm still thirsty :-)

Ed, had a blast today. Thanks for taking me on some roads I had not traveled in sometime and roads I had never traveled. The Orange elephant was too much Let's get together again sometime soon and do another 450!

If (and that's a big IF) my gauges are back from Joel Levine I'll be tooling down to Barber on the '64 to sort through the swap meet vendors stuff in prep for building this winter's project: a 1972 BMW R75/5 Scrambler. I'll go early Sat. morning to try and lock in a few difficult to find bits. Want to go together?
Actually, I have two weekends off in a row and I'm off to Biketoberfest for my annual riding weekend with my two brothers (and maybe the nephew, too) the following Thursday. My youngest brother (retired last year from the service) lives close to Daytona so I've got a sane spot to take refuge from the two wheel overload.
