Last year sometime, Popular Mechanics magazine did a test on a dozen "Increase Gas Mileage While Improving Performance" devices. They couldn't get a single one to work the way the manufacturer said that they would. They even had one device literally explode. The testing was fair, they took several vehicles, dyno'd them installed the devices the re-dyno'd the vehichles.
