9 Years ...utter rubbish. I am sorry I fall into the camp of if it was one of mine then life would be the least I would expect. We all make mistakes in our life but nobody in the world cannot say they are not aware that drink driving eventually leads to a serious accident.
I dont know a single person who has not been impacted either directly or indirectly by drink drivers. We all have friends or relations who have been ran into, knocked down or had vehicles damaged by somebody under the influence.
A world wide ZERO tolerance approach is needed that way nobody can say "I didnt know". Using a slightly different approach he is a biker he should know how fragile we are, how easy it is to be hurt on a bike. He should have been more aware.
If you dont agree tough, I dont care, if I see any body drink driving I would immediately report them to the police I have no interest or care about any body who has no care or interest in other road users. My reasoning is real simple next time it be one of yours or mine lying on the road.
