Never be too sure what "fast" looks like or rides. Last year I watch a guy on a VTX 1800 SMOKE 3 Daytonas with "hot shoe" riders for 20 miles on one of our Rat Raids.
All things being equal....but how often is that. We saw the same thing snowmobile racing all the time. It's (almost) always the rider and not the ride.
My frind is a regional Triumph rep and a former sponsored factory racer and the VTX 1800 was the only bike to stay with his Speed Tripple in the twisties. THAT was a real eye opener.
