I don't think the rider would matter that much, especially in a drag race. T-bird 678lbs and 85 hp; R-3 701 lbs. 140 hp. My 88 year old dad on the R-3 could win that race.




Well Paul, I think Yota just "might" be referring to some kind of "race" along a stretch of road a little more like THIS HERE...



And THAT DOES "kind'a" depend a whole lot MORE on a rider's abilities in THAT KIND of "race" than just the "ability" to snap open a throttle like I'm sure your 88 y/o daddy COULD probably still do.

(AND, just like Mr.Springsteen once wrote about being blinded by a light..."Mama, THAT'S WHERE the fun is" on these here machines...LEANIN' 'EM into turns and tryin' to find each and every late apex on that road that I can...at least it is for ME, anyways!!!)




For that twisty piece of pavement neither a R-3 or T-bird would do. Our BA's and SM's would whip their behinds. Of course a Sprint or Daytona would whip ours.
