Vomit on the Children

Best. Band. Name. Ever.

In college my buddies and I thought the best name for a heavy metal band would be Pelvic Thrust. Alas, I was the only one who played an instrument. But you don't see a lot of trombones in heavy metal.

haha...thanks man, we actually changed it to "dead pegasus" but we liked the name so much we're keeping it for the album title.

trombones in metal?...im not sure, but i know theres some pretty hard ska bands out there rocking sax, trumpet, & trombone. Look up "voodoo glow skulls" and "mephistopholese"...they might be hard to find, theyre "satanic ska"...ahaa

Fwiw, Steve cantrell used a trombone in his band after the breakup of Alice in chains. The guy was sort of comical by the way he let the slidey part fly out into the crowd.

Nice table dude!

The band I'm in (we have a reunion tour every few years...) is called "Powdered Funk". We named our one and only album, a crappy recording of a campus coffee house gig "just add water". Our Drummer, the other Ben, has a gift for naming bands, so whenever we have some iteration of us, it's usually a different name. A few of the guys had a regular gig at the local middle eastern food eatery called the Sahara, awesome Hummus, anyway, their name was "Jazz Jihad." Always killed me...

Come to think of it, I have a little more things i enjoy doing. On the top of the list is playing with my little man Jake. Nothing like haveing a 20 month old to whip up on ya. I also love to cook. I would say i missed my calling in life, but I really do enjoy being a medic, dont know if I woild enjoy cooking so much if I had to do it for a living.

I spend a lot of time getting yelled at by Jessica. Does that count?

Oh and I am trying to learn the guitar.
