Hi all,
I put in Brent's little clutch lifter dress up kit. This requires pushing the lifter arm forward in order to release the cable from the lifter arm. I did this, released the cable, allowed the clutch lifter arm to rest (in a position further to the rear then it would with the cable attached) and--after installing the little boot--applyed forward pressure and put the cable back in the lifter. When I'm done, my clutch is totally out of adjustment, with oodles of free play. Did I screw up big time to do I just need to readjust my clutch cable? It's so out of whack I'm wondering if an adjustment would do it. Did this happen to anyone else?
